So I was awoken in the middle of the night to sheets of rain falling down. It was actually kind of cool to the point that I needed to put on my sheet. I sat outside my room for a second feeling the cool breeze and rain, and watching the thunder and lightning. The only thing that was missing was my Dad. It wasn't the same counting by "mississippi's" the difference between the thunder and lightning like we used to do when I was younger alone. I wished that he had been there too!

So....the teacher in me found a grammatical error. Sorry, Paige, you know I can't help myself - ha!!....you "awoke" to the rain, or you were "awakened" by the rain. Right all you teachers out there? Kisha? Kit? Carol? Pat? Anyway....Daddy will be happy that your experience reminded you of him. I love you!!
ReplyDeleteI threw that in there to see if the teachers out there...Kisha, Carol, Auntie Pat, Aunt Kit were still using the "teacher side" of their brain even throughout the summer. Good job, Mom. Even after all this time you are still a teacher. Keep up the good work.
