My Herrera Students!

I will be updating my blog with more happenings probably tomorrow because I don't have the time today. However, I am hearing that I am missed by my old students from Herrera... this is news to me because they never post! Now, Herrera kids, I know you all have computer skills...especially those involving communicating with friends... because of that, I am very disappointed in the fact that you have not posted any comments on my blog! Keep in touch my children- I think about all of you all the time, and want to know how you are doing. Angel, Fernando, Noemi, Niki, Miriam, Jesus, Peter, Rosemary, Maya, Victoria...you guys especially since I have heard from you, or someone has heard from you since I have been here...rally together all my Herrera clan and give me a shout out! Miss you all!

  1. Hi Paige,

Give all your students Father Marc's schedule in Arizona, Our Lady of Perpetual Help the weekend of July 28th and 29th and Resurrection in Tempe the next weekend. Make an announcement on your blog who knows, the more contacts the better.

  3. Doesn't that make you feel so good to be missed by so many? I know why...you are a wonderful young lady. Hope all is going well for you this week. It is our first week back to school so it has been super busy. Everyone is tired and a little bit stressed especially my new teachers. I have 1 brand new to first grade and one who changed from 4th to 2nd and it is quite a shock for her because 2nd graders just don't do things quite as quickly as 4th graders. Love, Aunt Kit

  4. PAIGE!! Guess what movie I saw yesterday with Kyle? (Drum roll please)...

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, that's what! You are going to LOVE it, it was sooo good!! Not to mention Harry Potter got sooo CUTE. Yes I know, I'm a Harry Potter freak! But I just thought I'd let you know. When you get back from Haiti we should go see it.

Oh, I don't know if I told you this but I also saw that Nancy Drew movie with Emma Roberts. That was a pretty good movie too, I think you would enjoy it. I love you, take care.

    Love always, Will. :)

  5. Paige,
Your Aunt and cousin are home safe and sound!
For those of you (Adrian, Aunt Pam, Uncle Chris, Lynne, and Jill - especially) Paige is in her element!!
It's obvious she misses you all and is homesick; she is healthy - although, a little skinny, don't worry, Adrian, her cute butt is still in tact) but looking more beautiful than ever!!
She glows and on the way home Fr. Marc was assuring my dad that he appreciates what a wonderful asset Paige is to Pwoje Espwa. He is so impressed with her abilities to work with the artisans, do research on the Internet, communicate so well, but mostly for being the GEM that she is and for being sooo good to his 600 sons and daughters - what more could a parent want?
I love you, Paige and miss you already! I am so proud of you! Scott sends his love and he's happy to know his "cuzzle" is well!
    Love, Jami

  6. Hi all,
Internet hasn't been great- hopefully today I will be able to catch up on posts. Aunt Kit, it sounds like a typical beginning of the school year, no? I am getting a little anxious myself because I have a lot to do before meeting with the English teachers. I am not going to be teaching any actual classes, but observing and helping the teachers. I thought about you, Aunt Kit. I am excited about it. Our school year doesn't start until September though, so I have time.

Jami and Aunt Dee- I am so happy to hear you all made it safely. Jami, thank you for boosting my ego...haha. It was so good to see you, and I hope you are feeling better. (for those of you that don't know, Jami was bedridden for a large portion of her trip. Fegins was able to cheer her up though.) Tell my cuzzle I love him! Talk to you soon!

Jill- I can't wait to see those two movies with you...hint, hint Christmas presents for me... haha. How was Vegas? I worried about you the whole time you were there. Kyle better have been good to you and your oh so many demands. Love you girly.

  9. Paige, Vegas was fabulous! I wrote you a comment about it on another page, I forgot which one. I hope you got it, though. And Kyle, that was very sweet of you to leave a comment for Paige that way! And yes Paige, Kyle WAS good to me, and very funny about the whole demand thing. We'll definitely go see those movies when you get back. I love you! Hope all is well.

    Love, William.

  10. PS. I changed my display name to "William, aka Paige's baby sister." I thought you would like that a lot more, Paige. :) I hope it will work.

  15. Hey Lolo,
I'm the long lost, never mentioned, more like cousin brother of "young hood", that no one likes. Hope you're having fun, we are. We always remember you whenever Fernando and us go to Starbucks.

  16. Ok Herrera kids- or formal Herrera kids. You guys have to remember that this is a blog that all of my family and friends, and probably your teachers see. I know it is cool to write with symbols and make fun of people...I get that... but try to stay "school appropriate" for me, please. I don't want to have to give teacher lectures from a third world country. I love hearing from you, but when you start making fun of people very important to me, that pisses me off. I love you guys, but I love you even more when you are being the cool kids I know- not little hoodrats.

  18. Haha,I guess you don't want us commenting then, since I'm posting comments that are not "school appropriate", and make fun of the people that are important to you. So I'll just stay off now. Miss you.
